Position: Quantity Surveyor

Waikato Construction Management Ltd is a household name in Design and Build Projects. We have been building our reputation for over 15 years where majority of our business are generated by word of mouth. We undertake a range of commercial, industrial and shed-home building projects for clients and community-based organisations. We have a small team with big ambition, high performance and proud to help build the Waikato.

We are searching for a qualified QUANTITY SURVEYOR with 3+ years New Zealand experience in cost estimating, contract management and planning software, ideally Cost X. You will have excellent organisation skills and be a confident communicator. You will have high accuracy, attention to detail and bring a positive attitude.

Qualifications & Experience

Key attributes we are looking for:

• Tertiary level qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Knowledge dealing with standard NZ construction contracts
• Project pricing and budgeting
• Prepare and negotiate contractual claims and variations
• To carry out Project administration requirements for each project allocated
• Procurement Management
• Financial Report and Cost Control
